Microsoft's E3 Conference was a mixed bag....

The title speaks for itself as there were things I liked and hated about this conference. And because I want to end this on a lighter note, I'll express what I disliked first and what I liked second about this conference. * It started by showcasing Forza was the same old same old car racing, and showing off a car on stage. AGAIN!!!! But E3 is a technology showcasing event, so I guess I'll let it go. *Assassins Creed Origins leaves many questions, which dampens its intrigue for me. Though given the consistency of releases I wouldn't be surprised if some fans are burnt out. * Player Unknown’s BattleGrounds seemed interesting despite being a battle royale MMO. That was until I saw the gameplay, and all of my hopes were crushed when they showed the "realistic character models," and fifty shades of brown color scheme. *MineCraft in 4K...If that's all then I'll stick to regular MineCraft thanks... *Life Is Strange Sequel... Didn't care for the first one, not gonna care for this. *They also seem to be selling old Xbox games digitally on XBoxLive? Sony and Nintendo have been doing that for half a decade or more and Microsoft thought to do it NOW?! WTF? *Tacoma Looked neat, but not enough was unveiled to get me interested. Now on to the things I like... *Metro Exodus' gameplay made me interested in playing the previous Metro games. The steampunk setting caught my interest. *State Of Decay 2, as I didn't know there was a first one. But the brute Nemesis T-Type zombies have my attention, as they look fun to kill. *Darwin Project is a third person exploration shooter with a cartoony CGI look. *DragonBall FighterZ Finally a sprite based DBZ game that feels like a DBZ Fighting game! It's all there. The fast paced action, explosive super-moves, power ups, the works! I'm so gonna get this after it comes out! *Black Desert Looks like a fun MMORPG. Though I'm a sucker for action RPGs. :p *Last Night. A Neon Colored sci-fi game with a "futuristic setting. Need to look more into it, because it caught my eye. *Artful Escape looks like a trip "build your own adventure" game. Like Minecraft except with paper and colors. *Super Lucky's Tale. Looked like Conker which is a bad idea, because it felt like bait for Conker fans. It's a bright colored platformer game so I'm happy. *Code Vein is a action JRPG that looked like a cross between Metal Gear Revengeance and Prototype. Me like a lot. *Sea Of Thieves is an First person PoV pirate based exploration game, which looks like fun. *Then there's a CupHead, a 2D style platform that looks like a 1920s-1930s Disney style cartoon. Creativity is not dead in Xbox gaming thank God. *CrackDown 3 LIVES! I misheard through the grapevine that it was cancelled, and given what I saw in 2015, that news angered me. Because the bright color scheme futuristic setting and third person shooter gameplay appealed to me. *Shadow Of War, Shadow Of Mordor's Sequel looks good, but I need to play Mordor first. *Ori And The Will Of The Wisp. I'm glad Ori was successful enough to get a sequel. But I will look to play Ori In the Blind Forest first because it looked like a fun colorful platformer. *And FINALLY We get some gameplay footage for Anthem. So again, a mixed bag. I honestly don't know whether to hate it or love it, or just settle for what I liked and what I hated.
