Fire a Raging.....

When we all come into line and get all things straight When we get all our main priorities into perspective When we realize what others have got on their plate Its then that we all lend a helping hand to the other Its then that we see each other as our brother This is not very good Poem stuff but its how it came out. I was thinking of the help that France gave to Portugal yesterday and how technology can be our friend instead of our foe. Also Spain and Italy sent their help as well. Portuegese Firemen were forever grateful as they got hurt themselves putting their own life before anyone elses to try and dowse out that raging fire. Many many dead and injured. I was thinking that if there is a Satellite to warn of such fires why don“t they send a signal to the nearest Fire Stations or do they? I felt for the woman that was screaming in a terrible state. Surely in the future there should be warnings of the kind for us to be more aware of what can happen?

i'm glad that help's been sent. i know 'round these parts folks're told to evacuate when there's a fire impedin' 'pon where folks reside. then 'gain, many countries aint got no place to go. my heart goes out to all who've lost their lives'n otherwise been traumatized by the fires.

Yes they were still trying to put the fire out yesterday. The Spanish Fireman from Madrid were saying so that they had dowsed their fire and were going to help out in another. If I remember right there was a similar thing happened in California some time back.

Oh yes I was reading about this fire yesterday. There was this man saying that he got saved. You are right. Such warning systems are important. This reminds me of the tsunami

Portugal suffers from this problem a lot of the time but never as bad as this one. Sorry I did not think about that at the time but it should also be warned about and also flash flooding threats. It would make us more aware of what is going on.

@Nawsheen One man was saying he was baffled out how everything has turned out. Poor man is so taken over by the emotion of it all its no wonder he feels like that.

Reall heroes. Any Fireman from wherever he is has a lot to put up with. I feel we should be warned about this kind of thing happening. Hope to goodness it never happens again.

They are too Dianne thank you it was kind of difficult to write about all I could remember was that poor lady crying her eyes out. Some managed to escape with what they were standing up in. One man had the urge to run and run and so he did with his Family if not they would not be here today to tell the story.

I am glad other countries are sending help. Other countries sent a lot of help to Alberta last year when a city had to be evacuated.

I think I remember that as well. They are still fighting the focus points of the fires and have asked Morocco to help them out that is how bad it has been.
