Great time at Guys & Dolls!

First of all, I absolutely loved the show! I was surprised at how much I really loved this show! I'd never seen it before or even really heard much about it. I mean I'd heard the title, but didn't know what it was about, or any of the music.. but OMG did I ever love this show! I signed my 14 and 11 year old son's up for a program called All Access. They actually spent the whole day at the theater. They learned some of the music and choreography. They had Q&A sessions with some of the cast and crew, they took a tour of the facilities, had lunch with the cast.. It was quite literally All Access. They made these little placards during the day, and after the show they got some of the cast to sign it.. And the cast was so nice! They came out and had conversations with us, asked us what we liked about the show, told us how they had 13 days to learn the show and only 1 afternoon to learn the hardest dance number in the show! They were just such nice people! The biggest news of course is about my 14 year old, who you all know is a budding actor. Well, the guy who ran the All Access program remembered my son, who had done the same program last year.. not only remembered him, but had actually also come to my son's High School Musical Production, and said my son was absolutely hilarious in his role! BTW- This guy who runs the program was also an actor in the show.. and my son made a huge impression on him!! Bonus! Oh.. my son also became close with the producer of all the shows at this little theater! The producer is actually going to mention my son's talents to some of his director friends because he's so impressed with him... And because of all this my son has decided he needs professional dance lessons. He's great at following choreography, but hasn't had any formal training. So he wants to take jazz and tap classes. The only trouble is trying to fit this into his already busy schedule!
