Swollen Gum

I had been having swollen gum on my right hand side of the teeth. The whole row of teeth are in pain. Initially, I thought that one of my tooth was loose but it wasn't. Over a couple of days, it turned out that gum swell up to reddish and plump puffy. When I touch it, I was in pain as if I had a row of toothache! I went to the pharmacy for advice. I had to buy Serraptidase tablets, that reduce the gum inflammation. No mouth wash but I can use warm salt water to gurgle. I couldn't brush my right hand side teeth properly either. Once the bristle touches the swollen gum, I grimace in pain. Do you have any home remedies for swollen gum besides the salt water?

Sounds like it might be infected. I'd see a doctor if it doesn't get better.
