Diary 24th And 25th June 2017

Diary Saturday 24th June 2017 A routine day of cat feeding, job hunting and basic errands. The evening involved a poker night party at a friend's house. I made sure the cat had lots of food and water and headed out. I bought my tram ticket right before noticing there was a replacement bus as the tram-lines were being 'improved' - passenger service improvements frequently just mean no passenger services all day. Walking to the bus stop I found a woman's credit card on the floor so I looked round for a policeman to hand it to (so no one could use it and steal it). I expected to find a cop easily given the need for security after recent terrorist attacks. It took me twenty minutes to find a cop. I got the bus to where the trams were still running to and travelled on to the party. I was the first out in the game (losing only £2.00). It was a lovely night out. Diary Sunday 25th June 2017 After breakfast with my friends who let me stay overnight I headed to the house in Manchester that I'm minding to feed the cat and catch up with my online activity including more job searching - the end of a lovely weekend. A big thanks to my friends in Rochdale. Arthur Chappell

Sounds like you had a very pleasant weekend. How much longer are you minding the cat for

So nice you were able to stay the night. Yes I am surprised it took you so long to find a copper.

Well I'm glad you had a nice weekend and were able to get out for a bit and play poker with your friends. I hope you have a nice relaxing Sunday.

@Blondie2222 I expect it won't last. She may be luring me into a false sense of security before doing something really evil

sounds like it was a nice little break, even if it involved sitting a grumpy cat

@Jessicalynnt it has been a lovely break. I quite like the cat for all her misery and contempt for me

The last time we found a bank card we just held onto it and popped it into the relevant bank the next day. We'd be hard pushed to find a policeman in the country towns around here!

@Poppylicious I thought of that but I was nervous someone might see me with it and assume I'd stolen it

Sounds like you had a great weekend. I'm glad the cat is staying inside now. Are you getting along better or does she still stay away from you?
