Wrong Online Order With a Happy Ending

We all have experienced ordering something online. It is a seamless, easy, and convenient process. But once in a while, there are misses and things happen unexpectedly. With my recent online purchase, I was sent the wrong item. I purchased a hard case for my 13-inch MacBook Air. It was the same price as the one that I wanted, but it was for a 13-inch MacBook Pro. I was very disappointed because I cannot bring my laptop to work without that hard shell cover as I do not want to scratch it (I plan to do some school work during my lunch break). When my boyfriend saw the hard case they sent me, he tried it on his MacBook Pro. He likes how it looks and he said he would like to keep it. I ended up paying more for them to deliver my original order as well as to purchase the wrong one they sent me. I am glad that I do not have to re-pack the item and send it to them. All's well here! Any experiences similar to mine where a mistake ended up being right for you after all?

That is the reason why I do not like to.shop online at times. Usually the shipping costs to send back the items are high over here

You are correct. Shipping costs is definitely a big deal for me when considering online purchases. If it's comparable to the gas that I will spend driving to the store then might as well set a time to get the item from it.

So do I. I say I cannot be a good packager. I am not even good in gift wrapping. My clumsiness always brings me paper cuts.

That's nice to hear that it ended up something good after all. I don't like to purchase items online often because same reason like this, we don't see the actual product.
