First of all sports fans please understand that the Chicago Bulls is a business venture.
Due to the salary cap of the National Basketball Association (NBA) the Bulls who are going to be rebuilding their team in the next basketball season have released Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo after one season with the team.
However Rondo will be paid $3 million dollars by the Bulls since they could not afford to pay him his $13 million dollar option to keep him on the team.
The main reason the Bulls released Rondo may have been that during the NBA playoff series against the Boston Celtics. Rondo suffered a serious thumb injury that sidelined him after the second game of the playoff series which the Bulls were leading at that time a 2-0 lead.
With Rondo on the sidelines, the Boston Celtics won the rest of their playoff games with the Celtics winning the next four straight games to win the best of seven series 4 games to 2.
I am sure that Rondo who is 31 years of age, will land on his feet with another basketball team before the start of the 2017-18 basketball season.

I find him baffling as a point guard.. Might not be a big lost in the scheme of things. I am not saying you cannot win it all with him as a point guard, but for some reason for as good as he is, he dominates the ball. Even though he passes a lot, they say the ball is in has hand a lot longer than the average point guard and it makes it hard to get fluid sets because he runs down the shot clock by dribbling the ball so much.

I just fell bad for Bulls fans who are still waiting for another NBA championship since the days of Michael J Jordan.

Will the Bulls win a game next season? I can see Rondo signing with the Clippers.
