There are some things that one would view as so important, so sacred, so vital that they would never give up or quit. Where or in what things or areas would you never quit? What things have you given up or quit and what things would you never quit or give up?

@Kandae11 I agree! The inspiration for this discussion came after reading Luke 18:1 (Christian Standard Bible) "18 Now he told them a parable on the need for them to pray always and not give up." We should never give up or quit praying.

I would never give up being a mom or childcare provider. I would hope and pray I never give up on my faith no matter how tough things become. I have given up on going to college and becoming a teacher.

You have made some sacrifices to take care of your children and they need a good teacher at home.

I see! Are you able to share one example to help us understand the point better?

I'm not a quitter, usually no matter what. However, there was one instance when I begged God to let me quit something and after a while he allowed me to quit. I haven't regretted that decision.

Yes, if we want to have God's approval, there are some things that we just have to quit. I had to quit smoking and gambling among some other things. In some of these things we can only succeed with God's help and Holy Spirit.
