This is another huge favorite from their session. This is another pose I got from Pinterest that turned out really well. I will be using it again if I get the chance to take more couple photos. The only problem with this pose is getting them to both sit up straight so their backs don't look weird. I really like the pathway that we were on and I am looking forward to using it again when doing photos. I really love the park we were at and I see why so many people use it to take photos at. I am going to some fireworks tonight at the volunteer fire department. It is the first 4th of July I will actually get to spend with my boyfriend since we started dating. He was really into the fire department when we first started dating so he used to spend all down there setting up, parking cars, and other stuff so we never got to watch the fireworks together. Recently, he hasn't wanted to go down there at all and he turned in his radios and stuff last night to his dad who is on the board. He told me that he was tired of always being treated like a child and having members who haven't been there long and don't do half as much as him getting promoted to new positions. He has been apart of the fire department since he was 11, so that is 13 years, and no one there respects him, listens to him, or gives him credit for his work. I am proud of him for finally standing up for himself. I refused to go down there and be a part of it because of how they treated him and a lot of the members are not nice people. They all want the title of being a volunteer fireman without putting in any of the work.

@vsai2008 I have a Facebook page but that is the only place I currently post them other than Flickr. The link to my Facebook page is in my bio if you want to check it out.

Probably because they all know him from when he was a child, so it might be harder for them to see him as a man. Good picture.

@Courtlynn It always seems to be that way with the people who do their jobs or the ones who are good people.

Thank you. That is what we think as well but they are starting to realize that without him there all the little things like cutting the grass, picking up trash, keeping up other maintenance things, etc. don't get done now that he isn't there to do them and because no one else wants to go out of their way to do it. They always wanted to give praise to another one who is the same age as them even though he doesn't do anything really other than park cars at the 4th of July event and when they make stew he stays and helps for about 30 minutes but mostly just stays to eat and leave again.

Another lovely photo Casey. It is beautiful!!! I am so sad to hear about your boyfriend and how he has been treated so badly all those years. That is just WRONG. Yes he is right to get out of there and you are right not to go there.

Thank you. I really loved taking their photos. I am glad that he left. It means he gets to spend more time with me and not being someone's doormat.
