With 9 Seconds Remaning....

United States
July 2, 2017 9:59pm CST
It was scrubbed! I live in Florida about 45 minutes away from I went to go see todays rocket launch, but it was scrubbed with 9 seconds left on the clock. We can see launches right from our yard, but decided to do a little traveling to see it closer. This is a photo i took from my viewpoint across the water from the launch area at Kennedy Space Center. It was a automatic abort (some kind of technical error i think). They're going to try again tomorrow. Not sure if we will attempt the trip again. Weather is a factor as well. Launch Info: Rocket- SpaceX Falcon 9 Mission- Intelsat 35e communications satellite Launch Time- 7:36 p.m. Launch Window- to 8:34 p.m. Launch Complex: 39A at Kennedy Space Center

When I was a teenager living in Daytona Beach my parents and I drove down to Cape Canaveral to watch a launch. It was delayed but not cancelled. It's an amazing sight to see.

That is such a pity @Debscrochet ,that would have been awesome to see up close. My sister wants to try go visit The Kennedy Space Center but with Rand to Dollar, it will take a few more years.
