Here Comes the Rain Again

After the fourth consecutive day of rain I am singing the song “Here Comes the Rain Again” by the Eurythmics. I am also wondering if perhaps I might have to consider building an ark. It is getting quite serious on my side of the world. I mean the rain just doesn’t let up. Today when there was a moment between the raindrops Sid went out and I went out to give some bones to the neighbor’s dog Toro. I was out for about five minutes and when I was heading back to the house the rain started up again and me and the cat made a mad dash for the door. I am so tired of all of this rain. In the photo you can see Sid lying on the windowsill sleeping hoping that the rain will let up so that he can get outside. Besides the rain we also have very cool temperatures in the 60s F so that at night we even have to put on some heat. It is like the summer has gone and autumn has come. For my friends who live in the U.S. I hope you’re all having a wonderful, warm and pleasant Fourth of July. For those of my friends who live in other parts of the world I hope you are having a sunny and pleasant week. How are you all doing? Can anyone send me some sunshine special delivery?
