I had this photo taken a few years ago when we were on vacation. It was a park where you could see Manatees... apparently. We never saw even one, but I did see this "pretend" alligator. Now if it wasn't pretend, I wouldn't have gone within a mile of it. This one lol... was pretty good natured and made for a pretty good photo op!

I'm sorry you missed the manatees. They are such beautiful gentle creatures. I love watching them.

@Hate2Iron Try Homosassa Springs on the west coast. They have areas where you can watch them feed them and have them there all the time.

That's the only way I am getting near an alligator too @Hate2Iron , a nice pretend one! Awesome photo though!

WE have heard that too... and we wanted to see them sooo badly. Maybe next time we will go back to the same part and try again!!

Great photo.
Must be scary to see a real alligator.
I have seen them on the tele and they are something to run away from.
