Warner Brothers Studios will release the World War II motion picture "Dunkirk" on July 21. 2017.
The film will be directed by Christopher Nolan who directed the Batman movie "The Dark Knight".
"Dunkirk" will face competition on the weekend with the motion pictures "Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets" and the comedy "Girls Trip" not to mention that the motion pictures "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "War Of The Planet Of The Apes" will probably grab the share of the movie audience.
Nevertheless at least "Dunkirk" will not a reboot of a television series or a sequel to a blockbuster movie like "Pirates Of The Caribbean.".

Me too since the complaints from people on Disqus.com is that the only movies coming out this summer have been sequels or reboots of television and movies.

I plan to see it, but maybe not opening weekend. As a special treat, I might see it in IMax..It has been a long time since I have seen an Imax movie.

It looks like a great movie despite the fact that the main actors are not household names.

I don't know what to make of a war picture directed by Nolan.

At least the media is not shoving this movie down my throat like they are doing with the super hero movies.
