Dear friends, finally I could finish the project with great effort.
I have been working on a DIY project to prepare a tablemate. The material required were not available easily. Wood was got from a shop situated far away from the city. This was got just for Rs.100/- in total including cutting and sanding as per my instructions. There was no paint as it was dried up. So I could get from another shop. The Hinges and Brackets were obtained after a thorough inquiry in different shops which is really the hardest part of the project. Finally, when the rough work was over I temporarily fixed the entire item loosely with screws and was satisfied that the article was completed perfectly with the required precision.
Actually, I wanted to dismantle my coffee table and arrange the top for this project to save some money. But, after completing the work I was tempted to use a new table top as all the material used was brand new. Once I use the table top as a new one the entire article will be looking new. So dropped the idea of using the coffee table top.
Again I approached the Carpenter and asked for some wooden sheet if it is available with him. He showed me a plank which was quite good and had the same dimensions as I needed. So, I have decided to purchase the plank as it does not require any cutting separately.
At midnight I fixed everything. Finally, there was some shaking which I wanted to avoid by keeping some small reapers between the two vertical pieces. I finished the work and went into deep sleep.
Morning, while sipping a cup of hot coffee I noticed that the reapers were nailed improperly and all the three Reapers was not tilted to one side. This was the glaring mistake. I just felt very tired and decided to cut them with a nice and compact saw, that I purchased for Rs.65/-. fixing them correctly with another 3 reapers. I painted the whole thing using spray paint and could finish the entire work by 2 in the afternoon.
How is this piece Guys? We call this tablemate. This is quite comfortable and can be placed at any suitable place saving more space. This can be folded easily. It can withstand about 52 k.gs of weight as it is made of teakwood and this is quite strong
