Do you often think too much before you do something?

Thinking before deciding to do something is common (and very logical, by the way), but some people think too much before making a decision (whether it's an important decision or not). Do you think this is beneficial or harmful?

Hmmm... let me think... should I answer or not? Sometimes I overthink things, but mostly I just plunge right ahead without thinking at all.

I have often been accused of being way too analytical. I think it has served me well. Others of course may disagree. lol

It can work both ways. Sometimes you do just have to take on some risk and take the bull by the horns and hope you aren't gored in the process. lol

I used to think , deliberate and finally give up because I was still not sure !!! But now I think from all angles and go ahead with whatever I have decided . I am much happier now ..whether it is beneficial or not, the responsibility is yours

Although it depends on the situation, typically I do overthink and over analyze before making a decision. It gives me a headache, but at least I can mostly be absolutely sure I thought over the decision thoroughly.

Too much is not good for anything. Thinking is good , we can't jump into conclusions just like that

I being a very impulsive person feel that thinking before any decision is right thing, may be not over thinking.

I would have to say that it all depends on what you are thinking about... sometimes it really good to look at a subject from every angle and then there are other times when you just have to let it go (like when you are writing a book).

Unfortunately, I belong to the Club of thinking too much and changing my mind and rethinking it again.

Yes, you can overanalyze and overthink an issue.
