I was doing my regular perusal of the images on Pixabay when I came across this particular image. The first thought that came to my mind when I saw it was "What a great image for a book cover". Think about it, a book set back in time that is suspenseful, ghostly, and oh so mysterious. Don't you think it would give the perfect idea of what is to come inside? I was actually looking around for this type of image but for my purposes at this moment it didn't quite fit the image I was looking for. It's too bad. What do you think? Does it speak suspense to you?

To me it does. If it was a little darker with a full moon it would be just about perfect.

It is a great book cover, I mean it already tells a story! The image itself stimulates the reader's attention, making them read for more. And although it is not a gothic image, it brings out my nightly side.

It is my feelings exactly. I think it leaves open the story line. It makes you wonder what is happening inside the book. I think the style of dress shows it to take place in years gone by.

Who she's looking at? That's a surprise, isn't it. It fits correctly in the suspense imagery. But there's too much detailing. Perhaps a bit of walk in the night would have nailed it, IMHO

I think it does look suspense for me. But I think it is better to have a bit suspense looking for the girl in the picture.

That's the type of cover you want. One that intrigues a person enough to want to see what happens inside.
