What technique do you use to brush your teeth?

I visited the dentist for a quick fix to one of my teeth yesterday. After the fix, she recommended me to brush my teeth in a rotating motion , which I haven´t done ever. Since I remember, I have only brushed my teeth in a sideways motion. She siad that brushing my teeth in a circular or up-down motion will give massage to the gums and keep my teeth cleaner. What technique do you use to brush your teeth?

Rotation or circular motion puts less pressure on gums and cleans teeth well It is the best cleaning motion for our teeth I use that circular motion technique
