So, If I Disappear....

Yep, I decided that last night I was going to dive into a good book, because I have really missed getting lost in a story. Stepping into another time or place. I had some quiet time and so I picked up a book and got immersed in it for a few hours. Then I binge watched Royal Pains, 4 episodes which was 4 hours of a show I am addicted to! A channel is showing reruns of it, I am only at season 3, so please, no spoilers! But I thoroughly enjoyed Hank and Evan surviving another few days in the Hamptons, or as I now think of them, the hectic Hamptons. And I don't do it often, but dinner was hamburgers and fries! And dessert? Dessert was donuts! Yes, it will be fruit and water and a long walk today to make up for all that junk food  Then I stopped by myLot and was honestly only going to say hi to a few people, next thing I knew, it was 2am! How was your Friday night? Any plans for Saturday? I might get to read a bit more of my book today. In my previous discussion I asked that those I chat with often would let me know if they are going to disappear, so, if I disappear, you know where I am, lost in a good story! I wish everyone a fabulous weekend! Photo is of some flowers brightening up my home.

I do not plan to disappear for the moment, unless there is an external problem that obliges me to stop. I have no plans for the weekend, but I will surely spend a few hours reading.

@bluesa I have also baked a few things, on request of my husband. He is always asking for something, at least he is not at all overweight.

Nice to have that quiet time to yourself. I find myself unable to binge watch a program for to long. Maybe 2 episodes at a time. Although it is difficult to stop at just 2 especially if they leave at a cliffhanger moment at the end of the episode. Now sports, if its a good game and my team or player is winning, I can sit there and watch for hours.

Same here, DB. I can happily sit through a Rugby match, 7's Rugby match, Cricket match, Athletics, Gymnastics, Figure Skating, Tennis . Roger won Wimbledon again btw. And our Cricket team beat England today, yay . Royal Pains is the only show I sit through four episodes for. Good to know you like Sport too @dgobucks226

@dgobucks226 , awesome! DB, T20 Cricket is even more fun to watch. I would love to see the USA play T20. Yeah it is a pity Venus couldn't win it again, but I agree Gabine played well, as Venus said, and seems a really nice person.

@bluesa Huge sports fan Catherine! I think cricket is a really interesting sport. I've watched it on TV here. Those athletes are so skilled! That's a sport I wish the United States embraced. I would love to see a cricket match Yes, Roger won again. He is the king of Wimbledon for sure! Sadly, Venus lost, but I like the game of Gabine from Spain. She is also very athletic and seems so nice in the interviews

We are going to disappear today. Told my husband that we needed some fun time. With the weather cooperating and providing us with a good day, we are going to a lake to do some fishing. Also we are taking my older daughter with us to keep the Little Miss entertained so we can have some time for just the two of us.

Mine was a bit productive. I get to transfer my devotions to the journal. My hand writting is bad but at least I get to accomplish this. I haven't seen the Royal Pains. When I was catching up with the Prison Break 1 and 2, I can stay infront of the TV for hours.

@jobelbojel , good that you got your devotions transferred to your journal . I have never seen Prison Break, but I can understand staying infront of the t.v. for hours catching up with it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :)

You sound like an American! lol. My husband used to love Royal Pains. And speaking of the Hamptons, my son, his wife, and my grandson were there last weekend. They go every summer. What book are you reading?

Lol! Thank you! How cool would that be! I am crazy about those two brothers adventures, Dianne. Oh, how lucky they are, from the scenery on the show it is gorgeous! Do you like the Hamptons? I am reading "The Kill List" from Frederick Forsyth , nerve wrecking. Have you finished your book?

@bluesa The Hamptons is a very pricey and beautiful place. I loved watching the show for views of the mansions and clothes!!!! It reminds me so much of Palm Beach in Florida, which I also love. lol. I must read your book. It sounds super! I'm only halfway through mine. It has 1010 pages, all small print. I'm going blind reading it, but can't put it down for long.
