Fabulous Weekend for Some!

It's Parents Visiting Weekend at the Ice Princess's camp. Her mommy, daddy, and brother drove from New York City to arrive in Maine by Friday morning.
Along the way, they visited camps for our grandson. They found two that he loved for next summer. He will be attending an overnight camp in New Hampsire for one week, beginning on Sunday, with other rookies. He is so excited.
Mom and Dad will enjoy a vacation without children in Maine, then pick up our grandson to return home to his day camp.
Me, I've been looking at photos, texts, and videos. Apparently, the Ice Princess performed her program on the ice twice this morning for all the visiting parents. She was outstanding!
I'm going to a baby shower for my son's fiancée's sister. Lots of great things happening here. I plan on seeing you all later on!

Hi Dianne, happy Sunday to you! Hope you are doing well. Been busy working here lately, and so haven't been on this site very much. I was just down in WPB last weekend, I thought about you while I was there!

That's a nice group photo. I can hear the longing of the parents to have a weekend vacation from the kids All parents need that once in a while. I'm glad they found a camp your grandson is excited about. Great job for the Ice Princess performing her ice routine for visiting parents.
You just don't slow down. The only thing I'm doing this weekend is a new edit and revision of Freedom's Cry. I will get this right.

@DianneN I'm getting into a new book, book three of a trilogy I'm reading and almost don't want to put it down. I'm actually proud of myself for not touching it yesterday and working on my book all day instead. I've done some further research and will be changing a lot of two chapters and renaming them as well. I'm also doing a final, I hope, edit, as I get this worked out.

Everyone is having a wonderful summer - how exciting! Oh my goodness the Ice Princess looks like so much like you here. How fun for her to get to perform for the parents - a much more relaxed atmosphere than for a competition I'm sure. Hope you had a lovely time at the baby shower!

Thanks so much. Everyone is enjoying the summer and I hope you and your kids are, too. The ice princess is a showoff in front of crowds and did two perfect programs. I just hope she does as well in Michigan.
The shower was lovely! I even won a gift card to our favorite restaurant. Woot woot!

It is great for her to learn with a team like that and I am sure she is doing well. Have fun! We are about to leave for a local winery with a view and some music by favorite local musicians.
