my scratchit tickets 2017 by hereandthere

It's been a while since I bought ScratchIt tickets. This time, I bought 3: Pot of Gold, Go Bananas, and Red Hot 7's. They cost 20 pesos each (39 US cents), so I paid 60 pesos (US$ 1.18). The Go Bananas ticket revealed three 50s and 2x, which means 50 pesos x2 = 100 pesos (US$ 1.97). The Red Hot 7's revealed three 7s at the bottom row, which means I won 20 pesos (39 US cents). The Pot of Gold did not have any number that showed up three times, so that's my donation to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office. Hehe. So, 100 plus 20 equals 120 pesos, minus 60 pesos (the price of 3 tickets) means my actual winning was 60 pesos or US$ 1.18. Did you or anyone you know win anything lately? Do you always play to win?

we have that, too, called balik-taya, meaning you win back what you paid. some use it to buy another ticket. sometimes i do, sometimes i don't.

i only buy once or twice a month (that is, when i remember to) so the odds of winning is even smaller. but it's alright. it's just for fun and i set a limit on how much i spend.

Did you or anyone you know win anything lately? There were some raffle prizes that were given away during the event that I attended last Tuesday night. I know most of the winners. They won gift cheques, hotel accommodations, and buffet invites. Do you always play to win? Yes.

i only buy when i remember to buy. i think the most i won before was 70 pesos, but since i usually buy 2 tickets (40 pesos), then i only won 30 pesos.

Have I ever won? I am so unlucky that I never won the lottery. Lol. My friend did play the lotto lottery and today she is millionaire. She got lucky. She has been staying in the US for 2 years now.lol

@hereandthere I think she used some of the lottery money to find a job in the US. She always posts photos of her travels around the world. She is so lucky. I don't think that she is still playing the lottery now. I have not been in contact that much with her so I don't really know.

I have not done any of these scratch tickets in years! If I bought one, of course I would have that wishful thinking of winning, but it always ends up only that - wishful thinking .

That isn't bad. At least you came out ahead. I did win $50 on a scratch ticket years ago. Lately I am lucky if I win $1 once in awhile.

@hereandthere That is good. I like it when that happens or when I win a little bit.

I don't prefer the Loto Tickets

the reason i buy the scratchit tickets is precisely because i still don't understand how to play the lotto (wherein you choose 6 numbers)

@hereandthere I can understand, but i never had any luck

I buy some often though not scratch tickets. I have lost more with small winnings. Why buy those? I want to help some who are in need if I win big. I can only do so not to that extent now - siva
