the little post of nothing

I smell of apple crumble and marshmallows. The hair on my head believes itself to be a woolly hat; sweat threatens to ooze from my hairline and trickle annoyingly down my face. The fan in the corner keeps me cool. Ish. My t-shirt says, Wake up Happy, but I probably won't. Dora is curled up in Husband's underwear drawer. I opened it to put away some clean clothes and she decided to jump right in and snuggle up with his socks. I thought she might get out whilst I relaxed in the bath, but she is still there now and the clean clothes which need to go in the drawer below are piled neatly on the floor. They can wait. Husband says I pander to the cats, but they're like my babies, so I should be allowed to spoil and indulge them, yes? I have a cuddly giraffe on my belly, propping up my tablet. My legs are getting chilly. Should I simply pull the duvet over them? Or should I find the energy to sit up, lean across and turn the fan off? Why are there so many difficult decisions that need to be made?!

@poppylicious The only important decision to be made is deciding between ice cream flavours.

@Poppylicious Oh now, is it ever too late or too early for ice cream fantasies?

@xFiacre That might depend on the context of these fantasies. Eating, yes. Far too late. But never too early.

I agree with @WorDazza, pull the duvet over your legs and enjoy the cool breeze of your fan.

@Poppylicious I know what you mean, I did a cover and uncover during all the night.

I thought about it, but it just became too much. I couldn't cope! Oh, woe!

turning the fan off will save electricity and money so that might be best

Pull the duvet over your legs. If you turn the fan off the rest of you will get too warm. You know I'm right!

Yes, but little decisions should be easier ... and they're not. *pouts*

I think the easiest thing to do will be to cover your feet with the duvet. I am a cat lover and I don't mind spoiling my cats too

Cats exist purely to be spoilt. Or so they think.

Much better to pull the duvet up than turning off the fan. That's what I do.
