Big changes are coming

In just 5 weeks and 4 days, things are going to change drastically around my house. For the first time since I have been an adult with kids, all 3 will be in school all day and I will be home by myself for 6 hours a day.
I am often asked what I will do with all my free time. Sometimes I joke that I will have to find a hobby, but i do have plans.
The first day I will allow myself to do absolutely nothing. Maybe binge watch a tv show, but no goals are set for that day.
After that, I plan on giving my home a good cleaning from top to bottom. I am going to purge unused items and outgrown clothes. Once I have completed that I am hoping to get into a routine to keep things from getting out of hand.
As well I plan to spend more time crocheting, and possibly selling items I create. I won't get rich, but I hope to make a financial contribution to the household.
As for right now, the kids and I are enjoying our summer. The kids are enjoying their sports and we have had a play date with friends.

It will be good to have that one day of nothing.
Then to clean from top to bottom and get rid of stuff is such a great feeling.
I am also trying to find something to make a few contributions.

I am looking forward to it. I am even going to try to volunteer at the early years center. I figure if I am going to look for work in the future, having a fairly recent reference would be good.

I am giving myself that one day, then I will get myself into a routine. I think the break is well deserved.

I tend to not stick to routine very well. I am hopeful that once the kids are all in school I can get one going and stick to it enough to see results.

I remember that ahhhh moment the first day all my kids were in school. I'm sure you're going to enjoy your free time and get alot accomplished. Glad you're enjoying your summer. It's flying by isn't it.
