Hello sports fans how are you? I heard the most intriguing discussion about Colin Kappernick today on ESPN Radio. Reportedly, the Baltimore Ravens coach and general manager want to sign him, but the owner is holding everything up. Apparently, the owner does not approve of Kappernick's politics and behavior, and is reluctant to sign him even though he can dramatically improve his football team. This story illustrates what America is all about. We are nation of diversity where people can agree to disagree about politics, and still do great things together. So the owner of the Baltimore Ravens can disagree with Kappernick's politics and still employ him to develop a great football team. Signing the quarterback would be a bonanza for the Ravens. The Ravens are a fine football team, but they will never be America's Team like the Dallas Cowboys, or the king of the hill like the New York Yankees. Doing the right thing and signing Kappernick would give the Ravens unlimited publicity and improve their standing in sports and in the entire country. This publicity will translate into a better football team with increased interests, media coverage, and great financial gain. It is similar to the Mohammed Ali story, as he was very controversial and extremely popular and this allowed him to revive boxing and keep it in the spotlight for several decades. Ali's popularity was a financial windfall for the world of boxing, and boxing lost the spotlight when Ali retired. Kappernick probably would have the same effect on the Ravens. What is your opinion of the situation? Do you agree or disagree with me?

The bottom line is he is now a lousy player and poor quarterback who is suitable for 3rd string only, It's no coincidence his political antics began when he was an insanely overpaid benchwarmer. If he was the caliber QB he was 10 years ago, no one would care about his politics and would sign him.
