Why is Bruce Wayne so bitter despite being rich

I read an article on Qoura.com yesterday why the Bruce Wayne character is so grumpy in the recent Batman movies and cartoons. The answer is that despite Bruce Wayne being a rich man, the death of his parents at a young age when they went into Crime Alley in Gotham City did affect his childhood being raised by Alfred Pennyworth who was the butler of Bruce Wayne's parents. It makes me laugh that the critics of the Batman television show that starred the late Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin were comic relief instead of a moody Bruce as he became older. Come on Hollywood writers. an angry super hero character will sell tickets for the kids but us older folk who enjoyed the good old days when super heroes were like a family.

Superheros had to have bad days too. I commend they way the writers are trying to show them as a little more human. Personally I really have a hard time trusting someone that is bouncing off the walls cheery all the time, it makes me wonder what they are hiding. There is also the truism that money does not buy happiness.

I know that for a fact but if Bruce Wayne read the book by the late Garner Ted Armstrong "Believe It Or Not: The Bible Does Not Promise Heaven." He would dancing in his office.

Perhaps liberal Hollywood now wants Bruce Wayne to feel guilt over his wealth.

That is what I was thinking. Come on I like the super hero shows Justice League Of America which is on my DVD collection where the members said at the end of the cartoon "Let's go home. Mission accomplished."
