Making The World A Better Place

There is not a single person on Earth that does not think that this world is in a MESS, I don’t believe. Taking into consideration all the aspects surrounding us, we can see that this world is falling apart. There are armed conflicts in many places. There are thousands of people starving to death every day. There is the pollution of the air we breathe and the water we drink, even the food we eat. The oceans are full of garbage and plastic. Animals are going extinct for several reasons. There is crime and violence not only in the cities, but in quiet neighborhoods. There are persons overdosing on drugs every day. There are diseases, with no cures. There are those who cheat others, and hack into computer systems and scam anyone they can. There are murderers, and rapists, and thieves, and prisons full of lawbreakers. There are thousands of persons who are homeless. These problems plague the Earth, with not one human government able to solve any of these problems. WHY? What can you do as an individual to MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE? Mahatma Gandhi said: “Be the change you want to see in the world.” But the truth is, that as individuals we can make a small difference, but we can’t solve the major problems I mentioned, can we?
