Banned. How?

I have been wondering about this lately. How do people get banned from here? Well I know that by doing things against the community guidelines could do that to you. Then again, what if you weren't aware that what you said or posted are considered against the policies? Do the administrators send you a warning first, or you just get banned automatically?

Really depends on how severe the violation is. Bans don't take place automatically, because everything has to be reviewed by human eyes. People who join just to spam are generally banned without a warning because it's obvious they aren't here to actually participate. Other members who just make a mistake usually just see their posts disappear, which counts as a warning of sorts. If they don't keep doing the same thing they'll be fine here. If they keep posting things that are against the rules they'll eventually be removed from the site.

Owlwings has already given all the relevant information..I would like to add that I have seen the admin being quite tolerant , giving a second chance to new members . So it all depends on the members .

I don't know much about being banned so I learned just as much as you did here.

I don't think things are not that simple though. It is common error of humans to mislook or misunderstand things from or by another human being. One example could be our different perceptions of things. It is good though that you get warned here so as not to repeat your mistake and given another chance to continue here.
