Time after time, we missed out on valuable events. Once a friend of mine asked me to join him in an activity. "Wanna come along with me this evening?," asked my friend. "Where to?," I asked him. "Don't ask. You'll like it," he said. Since he didn't let me know, I turned it down by saying that I had something else to do. "Come on, mate. This is gonna be different. There's no time like the present," he tried to assure me. "I wish I would go with you," I said politely. The next day I came across another friend. He asked if I was invited to a poolside party in one of the international hotel in my city. I told him no. "John said you had something else to do. I met him at the party. It was a freebee party. Nice food, nice barbeque as well," he explained. My reason for not wanting to go with John was that he often pulled my leg.
