Smells and Aromas

Sometimes a certain smell will remind me of a person or event in my life.
And I love the smell of coffee brewing.
My father used to wear Old Spice after-shave lotion and if I smell it, I immediately am reminded of my DAD.
My Aunt Alice loved Cotillion perfume and sometimes I will go to the perfume counter in a department store just to spritz some of that perfume on my arm, and I am quickly reminded of my dear Aunt Alice.
The smell of bread baking or chocolate cake or cookies fresh from the oven, makes me smile.
And isn't it amazing that we can identify flowers by their smell. Roses in particular and Lilacs.

The smell of woods reminds me of when I was little and we would go to my grandparents. After all these years, the woods smell exactly the same!!
