I Won't Watch the Solar Eclipse (Spoiler Alert)

And the reason why lies with my paranoia from reading The Strain series. It is a great book series and the setup for what happens in the book kind of fits the events that so many are waiting for. If you aren't interested in anything supernatural or horror in literature then I doubt you'll read the books but for those who are and find that they may go ahead and read them I suggest you just leave the post now cause I am going to explain in the least amount of detail that I can why I won't be watching the eclipse because of the books. So in the book it seems to be close to modern times already and there is to be a solar eclipse. Just like the one we are expecting. During this eclipse a hellish race of monsters are unleashed upon the world. Slowly the world is thrown into horrible madness where humans are overrun and the sun is never seen again. I don't want to say anymore to spoil the books but it is such a great series and so well written that I will be staying safely inside all day and night the day of the eclipse. I know it sounds stupid but I can't help it. That and I don't wanna go blind if I were to get some faulty glasses. Will you be watching the eclipse?
