Trump & Ryan Are NOT For Middle Class Americans!

I'm still amazed that so many working class and retired Americans voted for a candidate who holds them in utter contempt and who will sign any bill passed by a Speaker of the House who considers them to be "takers" rather than "makers". Many of our best Senators and House Representatives have introduced a bill to SAVE Social Security and Medicare but instead of bringing it p for a vote Paul Ryan's budget calls for gutting the programs. Below is a excerpt from an email I just received from Florida Representative Charlie Crist:
When I got to Washington, the first bill I introduced was called the Save Social Security Act -- the legislation would end the double taxation of Social Security benefits for middle-class seniors. And it is fully paid for by asking the top two percent to pay their fair share into the program -- actually EXTENDING the life of the program another 30 years!
Think about it: Our seniors were taxed throughout their entire working lives so that they could receive Social Security benefits when they retired. Taxing those benefits is taxing them twice. That’s wrong.
Instead of scheduling my bill for a vote, Paul Ryan has proposed a budget that includes devastating cuts to Social Security and Medicare. In fact, it would gut them by nearly 500 million dollars.
(End of excerpt)
Please, fellow Americans on myLot, think about it when the 2018 midterm elections roll around and when the 2020 Presidential election finally gets here as well. Think about it every day when you're online or near a phone! Call, email, sign petitions, VOTE!!

They will raise the retirement age and cut all they can. That is what Republicans want to do, always.
