The Topic Today... Eavesdropping!

It's one of those days... gray skies, chilly temps and it's drizzling. I'm sure that there has to be someone out there who likes days like this, but I'm not one of them. My to-do list has pretty much been taken care of, but now I'm getting kind of bored. And oh, I didn't mention that I woke up in the wee hours of the morning and listened to a radio show about eavesdropping. Not even sure if that's how you spell it, but it certainly held my attention believe it or not. Apparently, you can find out some interesting bits and pieces by listening to other peoples conversations.
What is the most interesting conversation you have over-heard?? Anything coming to mind??

I'm not much of a person who listens to other's conversations. Though I do accidentally hear certain things people say. the last interesting thing I heard was someone was looking for their teenage kid who ran away.

Again in a restaurant, I head every detail about a house that this woman just had to buy. I'm sure that everyone in the restaurant knew about it.

@Hate2Iron There are people who take pleasure to let all the others know about their business. It is so rude. My husband can be pretty rude in cases like this.

I don't usually eavesdrop and I don't like it when people try to do so.
We have this employee in the office who I noticed would try to eavesdrop on our conversation. She's like a cat, walking silently and trying to listen as the board discusses important matters.

I wonder why people are so interested in what is going on in someone else's live?? According the radio broadcast... there are lots who are!
