I hope it will pass through!

We had our duty this morning; my colleague must have her duty in medical ward for 3-11 shift but was told that duty is suspended today because of the typhoon. Therefore Ms. CC my colleague, and her 8 students were off for home, and some of the 8 students rode in the bus where I also rode on.
I received an announcement from the local disaster coordinating council that the typhoon will make its landfall in a province near where I live. Our place is only on signal number 1.
I hope it will pass through without leaving any havoc, and no power outage and water supply like last October when Lawin devastated our city.
We have electricity and cable network, and Wi-Fi too, and I wish these 3 won’t be cut when the strong winds and rains come.
Now, I am recharging my mobile phones… just in case…

the flashlights that my brother gave us are always within my reach. it is a non-battery torch, but we have to wind it so power will be on.

Stay safe out there.
It has been raining non-stop here in Manila since last night.

God listened to the prayers of the local people here because we were spared from the wrath of Jolina. i hope there are no flash floods there in the capital city.

thank you. yes, we are all safe here. the storm passed by with no damage, but then, since my province is the catch basin, floods are expected to rise up.

@ridingbet Thanks for letting me know. I read that Hong Kong had about a dozen casualties from the typhoon. Very sad!

@1hopefulman yes, HongKong was on signal number 10, and watching the visual news feeds on FB about how the waves come rushing in to the buildings is really scary.

I hope it will not affect you that much. It's expected to landfall tonight but it's already raining hard this afternoon here

It started raining here last night but no strong winds for the moment. I hope electricity don't get cut off because the rest gets cut off. Be careful out there @ridingbet
