Have you ever done overtime at work?

Regardless of the job you have (whether you like it or not), having to do overtime is something that is very annoying most of the time (especially when you already have plans on schedule).
But sometimes these overtime are necessary. What do you think of this?

I take it whenever I can get it as I want more money

I know how my employees feel whenever I ask them to do some over time work but that hardly happens and I surely compensate them for that.

Nope. I'm a salaried employee but I have set hours in my contract and I can't be forced to work beyond them. (We don't get paid extra for staying after or doing any work outside of those hours) So I do my work during my contracted hours and I'll work through my lunch sometimes after I eat, but I don't work outside of my regular hours.

I don't mind going on overtime if it was pre-planned. I could always use the extra cash.

Back when I had a job, I went through a period of voluntarily doing tons of overtime for several years. The work was easy and I was wide awake anyway to come in early and it made for nice paychecks.
