Printing business problems

We have a small time business photocopying important documents. We have a Brother printer monochrome laser we bought for only 8,000 pesos. We can really afford this printers. I also bought a colored printer a Canon pixma series which is only 4,500 pesos. It's very affordable but the problem is they will function well only more or less 6 months after that they will have some issues. If I accept big jobs the printer seem to get tired and will not function well the next day. My colored printer have poor images because my magenta color is not working well. I need to buy a new cartridge. My brother printer has faded print on the right side of the paper. So now we can't give quality prints to customer. I wish I'm a technician so I can trouble shoot the problem my self. Do you have problems with printers too?
