Beer Production Halted

In this country of corporate greed, it's nice to see a couple companies do the right thing, profits be damned.
Both Miller Coors and Anheuser-Busch have suspended beer operations in order to can water for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
It's nice to see a major company make a difference. Whether you like the beer or not, now is the time to buy a Miller, Coors, or Anheuser-Busch product. It's the right thing to do.
Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors are working with the Red Cross to provide clean drinking water to the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

That is awesome. I know Bud is pretty famous for these things. Miller I am not sure about. Good for them for actually putting people before profits.

@teamfreak16 Yeah, we need to get back to when people had some common decency, instead of what we have become.

They are doing the right thing. A lot of companies would try to profit from this somehow.

@teamfreak16 I wish I could dig my can out but I don't know what tote it is in. All I remember is they were handing them out during the flood in Iowa. God bless them for what they are doing. More companies need to learn from

That's really nice but that's also a marketing strategy. Nevertheless, it's great that people get help from this big companies.

@teamfreak16 People these days get impressed and patronized companies that care.

We had that happen in Japan after the earthquake in 2011. Many of the plastics made for water bottles were made in the affected tsunami area, so many beverage plants switched to making various forms of water packaging, including the "squeeze" packets and "bricks" (waxed cardboard like milk cartons).

I guess they can put water in almost anything. Good ideas.
