Dad message us face book and complained that He called four days ago and no one answered. So, he message us again but he didn't call last night. I wonder why can't he just call our mobile phone instead? Another problem is that this new phone's ring volume is not high and Mom's got a hearing problem. Do you think I should call the network and replace it again or just buy a new one? If only we could put speakers on the phone that would help out with the ring volume.

Check the phone for the volume control. It might not be up as high as it needs to be. I found that to be a problem when I could barely hear the phone. Now my phone volume is always up.

I guess I should try @iriswest but I'm not optimistic since it's not a serious concern for them.

We have the same issue. What I did, I called my ISP and have it replaced. Now we have a new one and it's working okay.

I have similar problem with my cell phone. I could never really hear it ringing for some reasons. My kids told me that perhaps it was my hearing that caused problem...

@Letranknight2015 seriously, I have begun to think that they did sell me a bad phone. However I tried, I couldn't really hear mine well either. Good luck with trying to fix yours, hope it is still under warranty?

Perhaps it is easier to buy a new telephone and of course you shall check whether its volume is loud enough. Is it cheaper to call the landline than the mobile phone? Or your dad thinks the signal is better to call the landline?

Hello @youless There's no volume adjustment on this phone. Well, he's calling from abroad, I probably should tell him about our mobile contact number.

YOu'd better buy your own telephone that has a special specifications. Globe will just replace it with the same standard unit of telephone.

Hello @toniganzon I thought it would be better but unfortunately the ring volume is even lower, the unit that was replaced had higher ring volume.

Better buy a new one that allows you to have a high ringing volume. Globe's unit probably have a standard ringing volume that they have set in default in order for you not to adjust it @Letranknight2015.

Hello @rachz_kisses The ringing tone on this phone is a lot lower than the last unit they gave me. Probably just buy a new one for me.
