Happy Labor Day Everyone

We typically have a barbeque on Labor Day and invite a few friends over to enjoy it with us. It is beginning to look like Mother Nature is not going to cooperate with us.
Our blue sky is starting to turn gray and the clouds are starting to look a little angry. Since we have a 50% chance of rain I am thinki8ng that we are the area that drew a short straw.
No problem. We will all still have a good time. Instead of barbequing I will just cook the sausages, peppers and onions on the stove. All the salads are ready so as i said, no problem.
We are still going to enjoy the day. We have a great group of people coming.

I used to do the holiday get together`s when I was a little younger. But since I moved so far from everyone I don`t do that anymore.

Well I hope for your sake it doesn't rain but if it does you will make the best of it. My boyfriends mom normally has a cookout for labor day but this year she did not. I stayed home watching my 3 year old niece until 230 when she left.

I heard of a family that insisted on barbecuing. The day turned grey so they took the barbecue into the garage. Had a big fire and went homeless because they lost their home. Sad. Hope you are having a great weekend.

Here it is a year later and still we have the threat of rain for Labor Day. It isn't raining yet today but it doesn't look good. I think we will be making sausages, burgers, and hot dogs inside. We will have fun anyway. Hope you have a great Labor Day.
It's amazing how much you don't miss. My results are posted. Now on to month 2 for me.

Temp is hot, but pool is on the cool side but it didn't stop me from going in for an hour - will go back late afternoon after we have some food.
