My Brain Eventually Kicks In!

It is the middle of the week and a good day to resolve a few stuff. Sometimes my brain goes on vacation, I believe this is due to on going sleep issues, anyhow, point is I tend to be a little slow with some things, but my brain eventually kicks in.
Firstly, I no longer have a dilemma as I mentioned before, because, believe it or not, many years ago I did learn to say NO quite easily. Thing is I am a person that likes to help my friends when at all possible and I don't just say no without thinking a request through.
After thinking, I decided that I would not go to either function. I came up with other suggestions for my friends. The life of the party will be staying at home with his wife and my other friend has asked her older sister to accompany her husband to his function. Thank goodness that is sorted.
Now I just wish I could sort out the signal issues I am having with Wi-Fi, that is why I am not around as much or I take so long to get back to everyone, I am not certain when this will be fixed so please understand if I just disappear for hours. Oh the downsides of technology!
Well, I wish everyone a fantastic Wednesday. How is your week going so far? Take care, all.
Photo is mine.

Where we live, WiFi is always getting overlapping signals thus, slower connection speeds an sometimes going offline in the middle of texting. As for this Wednesday, I am staying on myLot and playing The Sims 4. I do not wish to go out or watch t.v. at all. besides I have had it with the monster storm putting a damper on the weather. By the way I like your flowers pic.

Problems with technology seems to be amping up, sorry you also have problems with Wi-Fi. Sounds like a good way to spend your Wednesday, I am soon going to get stuff together to make dinner. Is the storm heading your way? If it is, please take care. Thank you!

@bluesa , I saw it coming a week ago. Right after the coast of Texas was hit I looked at a NOAA article that had it's eyes on a newly forming tropical storm, IRMA, located just off the west coast of Africa in north Atlantic. Yea. It has effected Dallas indirectly. Many people have migrated here since Harvey hit. The population in Dallas has probably doubled by this day. Hope your dinner is a good one.

@lookatdesktop it is really crazy, I am following it on t.v. at the moment, but don't blame you for rather keeping busy away from tv. Thank you, dinner was good. I hope your day is as calm as can be.

@ridingbet , Yes, the site seems quiet to me too. Rafa won and now will play Kevin Anderson from South Africa.

So I guess wi-fi problems are a universal issue! And here I thought it was just a problem we dealt with here in the US! haha
I'm planning on enjoying wi-fi for as long as I can over the next few days, because after the hurricane hits we won't have wi-fi....or electricity...or a house....

Yeah, universal, yay much
. Jeez, Jeff, I am so sorry this is heading your way. It is good you can still have a sense of humour about it. Personally I am really worried about you. I hope you and your kids will be okay. You're all in my prayers.

@bluesa You really don't have to start worrying about me until late Sunday night and early Monday morning. That's when the worst of it will be happening where I live. But I'm ready for it.

Bravo (for saying 'NO' this time)
. I have heard stories, in which people did favors like that for friends, only to be accused unfairly years later for having an affair with the accuser's husband. (Some women when they got crazy, they became really unreasonable.)

It's always a relief to the brain when decisions are made. And probably to you too! Go Kevin
P.S. He did quite well didn't he!
