Should I burn this Rosary?

The Catholics Bishops conference had warn us all about buying these Rosaries. It was rumored that the Satanic Rosary has a beads on the side and a snake right behind Jesus Christ on that cross. A priest who happens to be an exorcist warned all of us about this and seen this one. Former bishops disclaims the theory and it said to be just an amulet. UNFORTUNATELY I was looking at this Rosary at my Closet and took a closer look and it match the description But this rosary had been around for decades. So, should I burn this one? I have bought one cross way back when my cousin had a vacation here and it's nothing like this. But mom hasn't brought it to the priest and have it blessed yet. There's a lot of ways of Evil already, I mean look at the movies people watch these days, they always have a double meaning. Even to the music you listen to.

i think your faith should be followed by your belief if you do accept what the exorcist priest mentioned to the public.

Hello @ridingbet I don't know about that, perhaps I should buy a new one or look for other rosaries here.

@Letranknight2015 my rosaries are tokens from my brother when he toured to some countries abroad, and i can say the rosaries are sacred and holy.

My faith dictates that whatever is not biblical, I should not exercise. Rosary directly violates the Bible in a number of ways. It is praying to Mary which is useless because only God can hear our prayers and can answer our prayers. Jesus is the one and only intermediary according to the Bible and so it is in His name we pray, not in Mary's name.

I'm not fond of praying the Rosary, I used to when my grandma was active about praying about it per night. Now a days, I just pray the Lords prayer @salonga It seemed I wasn't really lacking in my prayers after all.

If you have faith, you don´t need a Rosary to pray.

Hello @marguicha you're right, it's been there since my high school days I didn't really have an effect on me because I was praying most of the time.

It depends on you. I would burn it if I have it because the exorcist priest said even if you put holy water in it, it could not be cleansed.

I think you should pray over it, maybe sprinkle with holy water and make the sign of the Cross, ourenemy flees before that.

I agree that I should just pray instead, which I did this morning @petatonicsca I don't have a holy water though.

Hello @ilocosboy Thank you for this response, It shouldn't affect my everyday life and instead watch over my action and avoid doing sin.

I cant see the the rosary details clearly due to the photo quality, however, if that is indeed a cursed rosary I would go to a priest and have it cleansed then keep it.
