I walked into the bathroom to put some moisturizer on as my face was really dry. I looked in the mirror and yes I'm colored! Meaning I'm no longer gray and I have pink lips and cheeks finally. For so long I was just this gray color, lips and everything from being so anemic. Now if I can keep this up. I knew I had started feeling better, still have a ways to go and hope some of the health problems stay away so I keep getting better. Here is to hoping.

YAY! A trick we used to do with the leukemia patients is mash the fingernails down and if they did not turn back pink your blood was low.

Yes My daughter does that to me every time she sees me! . It isn't quite there yet but I'm feeling better so that is a big bonus as far as I'm concerned. Still doing iron pills 3 times a day and the liver and such. When I had my transfusion that said my blood volume was low too, along with Iron.
