God Speaks (through nature)

There has been much debate (in churches, classrooms, and philosophical debates) over whether God still speaks to us and if so, how does He speak. I believe that He does. I would like to do a series on the different ways He speaks to us. I welcome any ideas or thoughts on this topic. First I believe He speaks through nature. While I am not a Deist, there are a few aspects of the deist religion with which I am in agreement: 1. God is the supreme creator. 2. God can be experienced through nature. and 3. God provides for mankind through nature. These are the only aspects in which I agree with deism. So how does God speak to us through nature? Throughout the Bible, we see God speaking to His people through nature: burning bush, donkey, looking at stars, wind, under trees, just to name a few. There is something about nature that brings a peace and stillness and allows us to hear more clearly from God. Does God still speak this way? The answer is yes, we just are more apt not to be listening. Hebrews 13:8 reads, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." So yes, He will still speak through nature. God also reveals Himself through nature. Romans 1:20 reads, " For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." What are your thoughts?

You can learn lots about anyone by watching and understanding their actions. In this time-based causal universe God's actions can be seen. These actions can not be altered by mankind as with what is written in books. When one starts to see and understand God's actions, one truly learns the Truth about God. God is hiding nothing. We are surrounded by all the knowledge and truth. Can you see? How long did mankind watch birds fly before they figured out how? The amount of knowledge and information around us is almost limitless. You say you are starting to understand God through nature. I think it's a good start. You are headed in the right direction. The first thing God showed me upon discovery is that mankind has such a narrow view. I work on mine every day. How much more can you discover with a Wider View? It's the Journey of a Lifetime.

I can tell you what I feel about my G-d and I know he helps me. I will give you an example. I am Jewish and live in Israel and someone told me I have to go to the States to make money. That was back in 1989. So I went and it was 6 months that I was there and I was worried I would never get back here. I talk to G- d all the time and pray too. I asked him if he would bring me back Home and I would never leave the country. He brought me Home and I do not leave. I have no reason to leave anyways. He has been there for me at other times. He listens and when He is ready He helps us. That is all I can say. I believe in G-d wholeheartedly.
