So thankful it's over

We had my aunt's funeral today. I can't begin to list all the things, big and small that have gone wrong since she died three days ago.
First my husband got sick, but was well enough to give the eulogy today. He really did well; I was very proud of him.
Then yesterday the sound system went out and he had to go to two other towns to find a cd player that would work with the church system. Finally found one to use temporarily.
Got to the church this morning at 11am to see that the people hadn't even finished digging the grave!
The florist had not delivered three of the flower arrangements to the church and the family was arriving for the dinner. Called and got that straight and the flowers arrived a little late.
We were still waiting for the funeral home to bring the casket containing my aunt so the family flowers could be put on top.
Started getting a migraine this morning, but praise God it didn't get bad.
Oh, and you know that cd player we bought? Nope, didn't work when it was time for me to sing. I was so disappointed I wantd to cry. I really wanted to do that song for my aunt and her family.
I'm exhausted.
But, you now, all the important things worked out. My husband gave a wonderful eulogy, we had plenty of food for everyone, the church was full, and we all got to tell our special memories of my aunt.
She would have been very pleased. And surprised at all the fuss everyone was making over her.

Thanks, Kandase. My uncle will be lost without her, but he has two children and grandkids. His mind is not very clear, so I think some of the family will be staying with him.

It all worked out well in the end even with a few mishaps. I'm sure your aunt is looking down and smiling at how much she meant to everyone
