Collecting trash items instead of stamps

Collecting stamps as a hobby is a thing of the past for me. When I was young, I was a passionate stamp collector that I had 2 albums of local and Singapore stamps that I received from my dad's mail. Now as I am a housewife with kids, I collect trash items such as empty plastic bottles, container, tin cans, egg shells, old newspaper, boxes, cartons, glass jars and toilet paper rolls. These trash items are useful for recycling and reuse them into making decorative items or greeting cards. In addition, I could reuse them for storing sauces, seasoning, ingredients that are left over into the fridge. Do you collect trash items too? Photo taken by peachpurple
