I commented on a post on Facebook, where someone mentioned one of our elementary school teachers reading a book to us in the classroom, as I could pretty clearly remember it too.
A bunch of people whose names I recognized commented on the post, too. I left a comment about a particular scene I remembered from the book, and this one gal answered my comment: "Aww." after which she said,
"So good to see you on here Stacey ! I miss you and all the fun we had when we were little girls !"
A-n-n-nd do I remember her? Of course not. 
I sent her a friend request, and I sure hope that I can remember who the heck this girl (woman -- we went to elementary school in the '70's) was !!!

Only the one that's posted on facebook -- and I sure don't recognize her from there. Maybe I should look again and see if she looks anything like the "grown up" photo she has on Facebook.

I hope you can remember her too! For whatever reason, I have remembered a lot of old classmates from way back when, but I'm afraid they have not remembered me. When I happened to see them on Facebook . . . I messaged some to reach out but they did not message me back. One did message to tell me he moved around a lot as a kid, so his memory of school people was fuzzy. Another told me I knew her during a traumatic time in her life, so she had blocked much of her childhood.@much2say (57760)

@xstitcher Did you ever find out? I remember now too that one may not have remembered me, but instead of admitting to it, he said "How've you been?"

There are several that I remember -- so many of them look just like I remember them (even though they're "all grown up") in the photos they put on Facebook ! This girl, though -- I do not remember to save my life !
