It has been several years since I had stopped subscribing the local newspaper from the vendor. Each month, I had to pay RM 40 ( USD $10 ) which include the delivery fees.
Frankly speaking, I usually read the cartoon section first before I read the local news then the International news. No news is good news but every page I flipped were bad news. Either news about crime, theft, homicide, fire, accidents, fights and worldwide woes.
So sicked and tired of reading the newspaper that I decided to stop subscribing them, opt to listening to the radio or watch daily tv news instead. If I don't feel like knowing today's news, just don't switch on the radio or tv , felt better than to know all the disheartening news.
Anyway, anybody could read the daily news online, such as CNN, BBC news, Yahoo News which are updated hourly.
Free and save USD$10 monthly.
Do you still subscribe the local newspaper?
Which do you subscribe?
USA Today
The New York Times –
The Wall Street Journal
Los Angeles Times
New York Post

No we don't get a daily newspaper, but a weekly one, for just local news.

@peachpurple It is published only one day per week, for local residents to get updated.
