During the period while I was not very active here,I spent some time to watch some movies and listen to lot of songs. The Impossible (2012) is one of the movies I saw. The story takes place in Thailand caught up in the destruction of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.The story is about a tourist family, Maria ( Naomi Watts), Henry (Ewan McGregor) and their three kids ,who were there at that time. They are there to spend Christmas. They get an upgrade to a villa on the coastline. After settling in and exchanging gifts, they go to the pool, like so many other tourists. A perfect paradise vacation until a distant noise becomes a roar. There is no time to escape from the tsunami; Maria and her eldest are swept one way, Henry and the youngest another.(IMDB). You have to watch the movie to know what happens to them. I think The Impossible it is one of the better disaster films. Naomi Watts and and Tom Holland(Who did the role of the eldest son) were very good. If you have not seen it,it is worth watching.

I have not seen it, this is surely made according to the real story of the Tsunami on the day of Christmas in Thailand.

This will have to be added to my must see movie list, Probably on a rainy day when I can have some quiet time. That was truly such a nightmare for those caught in it.
