I sent these FIVE to my son and he sent me FIVE. We love trading information. He is an even bigger “trivia NUT” than I am. Thanks to me when he was growing up. 1. Pinafore”? The odd but SAD fact is that Gilbert died at the age of seventy-five, trying to save a girl from drowning. 2. What do all these people have in common? Jimmy Buffett, Humphrey Bogart, Little Richard, Annie Lennox, Sissy Spacek, , Conrad Hilton, Cab Calloway, Clara Barton, Larry Csonka, and Isaac Newton? They were all born on December 25, “Christmas Day.” 3. Ethel Merman’s real name is Ethel Zimmerman. Bob Dylan’s real name is Bob Zimmerman. They are NOT related. 4. Janet Leigh’s real name is Jeannette Morrison. John Wayne’s real name is Marion Morrison. They are NOT related, either. 5. The infamous Jesse James, once robbed a bank in Liberty, Kansas That bank is now the Jesse James Bank Museum. I thought these were really interesting.
