Since I was born up until now I never know who my heroine to fill the shoes of Cut Nyak Dien -- a woman considered to be a heroine. Her fight was against Dutch Colonist for 25 years back in 1908. She was said to be a guerrilla leader in the wake of her husband's death. At least that was a history lesson I got in Elementary School and her story is now accessible in internet.
Do we have such a leader in this modern time, in which positions are hard to come by unless you have connections. We noticed the gap between the rich and the poor is so wide. We see most people strive to get jobs to earn a living for the family while others on the other side live it up happily and glamorously.

I see. That's like an idol of your own. Some people admire certain celebs, either singers or movie stars. Bruce Lee used to be my idol when I learned Kung Fu.

we were also colonized and we also had women fighters/nationalists.
i also notice the widening gap between rich and poor, even right here in our neighborhood, and wish more people helped each other.
