I Just SHRIEKED Like Crazy!

I just shrieked my head off! Well, last night when I was sitting on my bed writing a list, I just shrieked my head off...
I was sitting, quietly writing out a list of stuff I needed to do, when I felt this strange scratchy sensation on my arm, looked down and saw a spider, crawling on my arm! Well that just did it!
When my eyes let my brain know what was happening, that a hairy spider was crawling on me, I let rip! I nearly took my own arm off too!
My neighbour who could hear me (though I think the whole gated community could hear me) laughed, he freaking laughed, humph!
I am still shuddering at this! Would you be able to remain calm if a spider was crawling on you?

@bluesa Yes. They are not nice, even when they are harmless. BTW, that spider is not poisonous.

@marguicha , so true, the spider that crawled on me was not poisonous either, this image from Pixabay shows closest how long the legs were.

I would have screamed as well! I am not a fan of insects, especially ones that can bite.

I can handle spiders, because they are the good guys...they eat all the other bad bugs. But roaches, no way, I will burn the house to the ground trying to kill a roach. I will call North Korea and tell them to shoot one of their nuclear missiles at my house if that's what it takes to kill a roach!

Good guys? Good guys? Certainly not when they are crawling on Me!!! Ick!
But you better believe that a roach will meet the same fate as the spider! I will smack it into the next life while shrieking like crazy!
We can freak out together! Did you know roaches can survive a nuclear blast? I think I heard that somewhere, though I could be wrong. ...

@bluesa I have heard before that roaches can survive a nuclear blast. That's pretty scary to think about! Humans will wipe themselves off of the face of the earth, and the damn roaches will end up ruling the planet!

OMG!!!! I would die of a heart attack on the spot! Years ago I was packing for a vacation with my husband and sons in the room. I pulled out a sweater and a big, brown hairy spider fell onto my arm. I screamed like a lunatic and scared everyone. I ran to the bathroom and let burning hot water run on my arm and made my husband wash the spider juice off my arm. The sweater went into the garbage with that beast! I'm terrified of spiders!!!!!

I don't know if I would have screamed, but I also hate bugs of any kind. I am no fan of them. Especially if they are crawling on me. Look, you felt the way you felt. Nothing wrong with that. My mother is healthy afraid of birds and feels the same way when they fly too close to her.

OH dear! My daughter is hysterical when it comes to spiders. There was a teeny weeny money spider in her car. She ran to a neighbour to come and get it out. Unfortunately she has passed her fear onto her children and they too are hysterical if they see one. My sister made me laugh she messaged her on facebook to tell her to bring her kids to our house as she saw one in her bedroom. I replied no we have spiders on the front door!

many times a big spider comes near me, in fact, one morning, the cup where i put my bottled water had the egg of a spider and there were so many, dozens maybe, baby spiders crawling out of the cup. i immediately removed the cup off the dining table and thoroughly washed the cup in running water.
minutes later, the big spider was on the table, maybe checking her baby spiders.

@bluesa if it were my son, he would run out of the house, but since i was the one who saw it, i did not react violently; not when an earthworm is seen by me, i might lose my consciousness.

Is it the same spider as that in the picture above? If it is hairy, it carries venom.

Spiders are no laughing matter. Some are deadly, or cause untold agony such as the brown recluse. So go ahead and shriek.
