Almost had it

So I been letting my son wear only boxers all day. Well, he did good for about 5 hours. Went potty two times on the toilet and then when we had people over, he had an accident. Then he ended back up in a pull up. I give him credit and will keep trying. I just don't have a washer and dryer if he keeps having accidents to wash his clothes in. And I hate doing them by hand. Hopefully he will get the hang of it soon. This is going to take time due to his learning disability.

5 hours is good. Keep working with him it will happen. Just tell him his big boy underwear do not like being wet he needs to go potty on the big potty not in his pants. Try setting a timer every 15 minutes then he has to go potty once it goes off.

Hopefully it doesnt take too long, as hes already 6. Most states, kids cant even go to school until they are potty trained.

At least he was able to go some of the day without needing the extra protection. Just take your time working with him and when it is time you will know. And it will make the long wait so much better, but no harm in continuing to try in between.

That is good that you have a place to go to do your laundry.

He did great. It could have been the distraction with other people around. Sometimes you have to just keep asking them if they have to go so they don't forget and have an accident. Be persistent. He will get it!
